Recorded in June 26, 2000, Riverbend Music Center, Cincinnati, Ohio

Live Trax Vol. 16 is a live album by Dave Matthews Band, and is the sixteenth volume in the band's Live Trax series. The album was recorded at Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 26, 2000. The album was announced on August 6, 2009, and the concert selected for the release was chosen by staff members of the Dave Matthews Band fan website AntsMarching.org. The album was released on September 15, 2009. An official announcement about the album was released on the Dave Matthews Band's official website on August 6, 2009. Pre-orders of the album began that day and continued up until September 11, 2009. The album was released in several different formats, including a 2-CD set as well as a digital download in 128kbps MP3, 256kbps MP3, and Free Lossless Audio Codec (FLAC) formats. Additional packages at the band's official store included the CD set bundled with a t-shirt, and a bundle of volumes 10–16 of the Live Trax series.

The concert selected for the release was recorded during the seventh show on the band's summer tour in 2000, and was the first night of a two-night stand at the Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. The set included 18 songs, three of which featured guest Dan Myers on the saxophone. Two song teases were performed solely by Dave Matthews during the show. The first took place before the opening song, where Matthews teased the song "Little Thing", which was later partially played during the show, making it the first performance on the song since 1996. The second tease was "Build You a House", a song from The Lillywhite Sessions that was never officially released or performed live, and was one of two teases of the song ever played in concert. "Build You a House" appears on Disc 2, Track 1 after "Grey Street".
