This CD has taught me to never buy without sampling. I can't see how
any real Kraftwerk fan would like this so-called "tribute" CD.
Kraftwerk has always been known for great melodies and unique
arrangments. On this CD, almost every track has had the melody stripped
away to the point that these "songs" don't even remotely resemble the
originals. Two exceptions are "The Model" and "The Man-Machine".
Neither are great but, at least they are recognizable. This CD would
appeal to people who's idea of a fun night out is overdosing on Ecstacy
at "rave" parties. Give me a room full of electronics and, in one week,
even I could come up with something better than this idiotic garbage.
This is music for the truly stupid people found in society. You know
who I mean...the people with the 30 inch subwoofers in the back seats
of their cars who always seem to be playing the same song every time
they pass by your house. This is Kraftwerk being reduced to the generic
techno crap anyone could produce.

Kraftwerk Klones... I look at stuff like this as being beneficial ...
many today don't properly ascribe the proper place in the pantheon of
Techno / Dance / ElectoPop to Kraftwerk that belongs to them. any band
which continues to perpetuate the music and pays tribute to kraftwerk
deserves attention by aficionados of this style
