Pretty good solo piano by Wakeman... Preludes is another Wakeman cd of just piano, no synth, guitar or drums. I own all of his solo piano efforts and this is one of Rick's best outings; pretty inspired, good melodies, an overall happy mood and outstanding technique, as always. If you like this kind of piano works, I highly recommend Wakeman's "piano album" (for me his best, including instrumental versions of "And you and I" "Wonderous stories" and the beautiful "Morning has broken") the three "Air" albums and also his "Heritage suite".
