On one of his better efforts of the late '70s, Vangelis moves through five tracks of straightahead synthesizer music. While Rubycon-era Tangerine Dream definitely influences the title track, the eerie vocal textures of "Ballad" and the atmospherics on "To the Unknown Man" are Vangelis trademarks.
