Leroy Gomez is American, native of cape Cod, Massachusettes. USA. At age of 14, he formed his own band, then he joined the group TAVARES and with them he toured all over the USA, Canada and Europe. Leroy fell in love with Europe and stayed in Paris, where very quickly he became one of the top session saxophone players and vocalist. He worked with many great artists, amongst them: Patrick Juvet, Gilbert Becaud, Claude Francois, Laurent Voulzy and many more.

He played saxophone on Elton John#s famous album "Yellow Brick Road". His first succes was the single "Here we go around" which was an instant hit in France and all over the world. Then came his world wide succes "SANTA ESMERALDA" with "Don#t let me be misunderstood". Before "Saturday Night Fever" (The Bee Gees) and "Thriller" (Michael Jackson), Leroy Gomez broke the world record of albums sale with 15 millions LP's, sold within a few months. To this day 25 millions LP's sold, not counting the singles and cassettes. "Don#t let me be misunderstood" No.1 Disco hit in the world with 48 gold albums and 42 platinum, followed by "House of the rising sun" and "Gloria". Both songs became also the gold status!

Twice elected best live show in Europe by the "Federation of the Europeen Press" and awarded the "Mask of Succes". Winner of 6 awards "Bill Board USA". First foreign artist to be presented the "Gondola d"Oro" of the Venice Music Festival. Leroy Gomez is also a song writer and composer.
