Third album from the Aussie drum 'n' bass fusion merchants and their second for Warner Bros. following 2008's 'In Silico'. On this album their collision of styles goes even further, juxtaposing RnB-style synths and vocodered vocals with out-and-out metal courtesy of guests In Flames. The album includes the single 'Watercolour' and additionally features guest appearances from Porcupine Tree's Steven Wilson and Liam Howlett of The Prodigy, whose 'Voodoo People' was remixed by Pendulum for its single release.



PENDULUM made one of the biggest breakthroughs of recent years with their hit album IN SILICO. Having sold over 1 MILLION records worldwide, the band completed a sell out Academy tour in 2008 and went on to smash the international festival circuit last summer with killer appearances at GLASTONBURY, DOWNLOAD, V and GLOBAL GATHERING to name a few. Both PENDULUM studio albums to date - IN SILICO and the band's debut HOLD YOUR COLOUR - have gone Platinum. WATERCOLOUR heralds a glorious evolution in the PENDULUM sound. Immersion is the third studio album from the drum &  bass/electronica band Pendulum. The album was announced in early 2009, with the name being confirmed in December 2009. The album is set to be released May 24, 2010, followed by a UK tour of the album. A U.S. release date has yet to be announced. In January 2010 Pendulum hosted the album preview Ear Storm event at Matter in London in which many top DJs performed sets of their own with Pendulum being the headliners. A live album sampler can be seen here. The album was mastered by Brian Gardner at Bernie Grundman Mastering Studios in Los Angeles. The album was finished on 18 April 2010, as confirmed by Rob Swire's twitter feed. On 14 May, Pendulum released 1 minute samplers of all 15 songs on their YouTube channel. However, on the 19th of May, Warner Music Group began blocking the videos on copyright grounds. All the samples are also hosted on Pendulum's website, with the exception of "Watercolour" and "Salt in the Wounds", which are available in full.
