Coleman Hawkins spricht durch sein Sax, er läßt es singen und erzählt wundervolle Geschichten damit. Die CD ist eine Offenbarung was den Jazz der 30er und 40er Jahre angeht, die Aufnahmequalität ist zeitgemäß und die Nachbearbeitung excellent.
