'In Your Honour' is the fifth album from Dave Grohl's Foo Fighters. Recorded as two separate albums, the first side being full on rock, the second being laidback and acoustic, thealbum showcases Grohl's unique songwriting abilities. The single 'Best Of You' is also included.

Although it was as big a commercial success as Foo Fighters' three previous albums, 2002's One by One seemed flat and tired, as if their leader, Dave Grohl, had reached a songwriting slump or as if the band had exhausted its possibilities. The time was ripe for a reinvention, or at least a risk, and the group responded accordingly with In Your Honor, a double album containing one disc of hard rock and one disc of acoustic material. Splitting music along such a clear dividing line is dangerous: since each disc explores one specific territory, each could sound monochromatic, but instead of falling into this trap, Foo Fighters benefit from these self-imposed constraints. Both the rock and acoustic albums have their own distinct character -- more so than, say, Guns N' Roses' separately released Use Your Illusion's, which felt like one gigantic sprawling album -- and while each is recognizably the work of Foo Fighters, neither feels as formulaic as One by One. While the acoustic album would seem to be the biggest break from tradition -- not only does it have a hushed, subdued mood, but it's filled with guest stars, including several appearances by Led Zeppelin's John Paul Jones, a duet with Norah Jones on "Virginia Moon," and Queens of the Stone Age's Josh Homme returning the favor of Grohl's drumming on Songs for the Deaf by laying down guitar on "Razor" -- both albums showcase a reinvigorated band that is eager to stretch out and experiment. As such, the rock album not only hits much harder than One by One -- arguably, it rocks harder than any of their other records -- but its has fluid musicality and a new found sense of drama that gives it a nearly cinematic sense of scope. Naturally, the acoustic album is quieter, but it also has a similar flow and easy grace that makes it a fitting complement to the harder first record. Previous Foo Fighters albums have had the problem of being a little inconsistent, both in terms of material and in terms of maintaining a consistent sound, but here, perhaps because of the focused direction of the two albums, they not only sustain a consistent mood on each record, but the songs on each are strong, hooky, and memorable. Which means that In Your Honor pulls off a neat trick: by stretching out, Foo Fighters not only have expanded their sound, but they've found the core of why their music works, so they now have better songs and deliver them more effectively. It makes for certainly their most consistent, arguably their best album yet.

Stephen Thomas Erlewine - All Music Guide

It’s likely that a decade after its debut record this band now has fans who might ask, "You mean Dave Grohl was in a band before the Foo Fighters?" But they, or any Foo followers who pine for the increasingly refined vocals and polished pop-punk uniformity of the first four albums, will swallow this one whole--or at least half. For as much as vocalist/bandleader Grohl and Co. mix a similar concoction on the 20-song double CD, they manage to agitate the formula ever so slightly. Disc one follows the Foo’s classic sonic blueprint: lip-smacking melodies and enigmatic lyrics, double-barrel guitars and drums that attack. But songs take a gentle turn on the second CD, showcasing Grohl’s underrated vocals amidst a high-energy ensemble of acoustic guitars, piano and mandolin (by studio guest John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin). Singing, not shouting, Grohl flips potential teen-rock anthems like "Miracle" and "Cold Day in the Sun" (with drummer Taylor Hawkins handling lead vocals) into impending adult-oriented radio staples and, 11 years after Nirvana, the Foo Fighters may finally have their triumph.

Inspired by the American public that Dave Grohl met on the trail while campaigning for John Kerry during the 2004 US Election campaign, In Your Honour could easily have fallen flat, a casualty of George W Bush’s triumphant return to the Whitehouse. That it isn’t is thanks to Grohl’s garrulous enthusiasm and skill for songs that vibrate with Everyman optimism – after all, who else in rock could snarl a line like "It’s a shame we have to die my dear/ No-one’s getting out of here alive" ("DOA") and still sound like they’re beaming from ear to ear? Sprawling across two CDs – one ‘rock’, one ‘acoustic’ – In Your Honour perhaps suffers from the overarching ambitions common to the double album format: despite gems like "Hell" and "The Last Song", the first disc is a little one-paced to hold your attention to the end. The acoustic disc, however, is a surprisingly eclectic success. "Friend Of A Friend", written back in 1992 while Grohl was still drumming in Nirvana, broods with a dark intensity, while the presence of guests Led Zeppelin’s John Paul Jones and chanteuse Norah Jones – who duets with Grohl on gently intriguing lounge-jazz number "Virginia Moon" - lend In Your Honour an intriguing extra dimension.

Louis Pattison - Amazon.co.uk

Since he started the Foo Fighters a decade or so back, Dave Grohl has approached fans with one hand clenched into a power-rock fist and the other proffering a flower of sprightly pop. He and his bandmates perfect that approach on this two-disc offering, which siphons Grohl's dual impulses into two separate discs. Disc 1 sets knobs to 11, from the eerie swoops of the trebly title track right on through to the end. Rather than by-the-book metal - something Grohl got out of his system on his Probot side project - the Foos delve into dark, gristly space-rock on tunes like the Hawkwind-styled "D.O.A." and the over-the-top, Rush-meets-Devo freakout "Free Me." It's the mellowed-out, '70s-styled second disc, however, that offers the most surprises - thanks in large part to a far-flung assortment of guest stars. While none of them out-and-out steals the show from Grohl and company, it's impossible to understate the effect of hearing John Paul Jones pluck out a rustic mandolin line on "Another Round," one of a few tunes redolent of immersion in Led Zeppelin III. Jones pops up again - this time behind the piano - on the stately "Miracle," but that song gains most of its buoyancy from Petra Haden's violin playing. The most intriguing collaboration of all is the tune that bears the least resemblance to ghosts of Foos past - a bossa nova–tinged slink entitled "Virginia Moon," on which Norah Jones beckons the band to lounge territory with sexy aplomb. As with most ambitiously scaled sets, In Your Honor is plumped up a bit, but there's enough meat on its bones to satisfy virtually any Foophile's craving.

David Sprague - Barnes & Noble

In Your Honor aims to be the Foo Fighters at their loudest and lightest. Frontman Dave Grohl initially conceived of the Foos' fifth album as an acoustic solo disc disguised as a movie score, a humble side project akin to Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood's atmospheric Bodysong. Things changed, and Grohl scrapped the idea, opting instead for an ambitious double album, conceived in the punk spirit of extremes: one disc designed as the heaviest set the Foo Fighters have ever delivered, and a second disc in the tradition of the foursome's live acoustic renditions of "Times Like These" and "Everlong."

True to Grohl's intent, the twenty-song, eighty-three-minute opus does separately highlight the quartet's hard-rocking and melodic skills. (The album's name is reportedly directed at presidential candidate John Kerry, but that's about it for the politics.) For the first seven tracks, Grohl -- with guitarist Chris Shiflett, bassist Nate Mendel and drummer Taylor Hawkins -- erects a wall of noise as if they were auditioning for Ozzfest. "Can you hear me/Hear me screaming," Grohl yells at the beginning of the opening title track. It's a classic grunge wail, and it's here to remind all pretenders that as a Nirvana alumnus, Grohl maintains the right to shred his vocal cords as he sees fit.

But a funny thing happens: It backfires. As an extended drumroll builds prolonged tension, Grohl and band strain so hard that the melody gets lost, and you want the engineer to stop the song. Same thing with the current single, "Best of You." It boasts a respectable hook, but the execution is too shrill, too polished and too much like Nickelback and the other radio rockers that won't let grunge die a dignified death. The first disc continues in cartoonish headbanging fashion on (note the titles) "DOA" and "Hell" as the quality of the tunes slips, and that combination accentuates the band's self-inflicted one-dimensionality. When Grohl and Co. finally relax on the disc's strongest song -- the Cheap Trick-like "Resolve" -- they prove what fans have known all along: It's the sweet and sour together in the same song that gave Nirvana and then Foo Fighters the classic power-pop virtues that have differentiated them from their wanna-be's.

The acoustic disc can also be measured against that truth. But the difference is that it's a stronger set of songs, and Grohl's giddiness at finally letting his soothing side rule is contagious. Because he brings influences and abilities not often heard in soft rock, Grohl is a more welcome, nuanced folkie than he is a metal god and he sings better than he screams. There's plenty of Rubber Soul in "Miracle" and "Another Round," which boast the piano and mandolin contributions of former Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones. More striking is the presence of Norah Jones, whose confident coo merges cozily with Grohl's fragile croon on the lounge jazz of "Virginia Moon," to which she also contributes tinkling piano.

Some of Grohl's lyrical shortcomings become exposed: The sameness and vagueness of his love lyrics blunt their impact. Grohl is comfortable chronicling messy relationships but rarely digs deep enough to share insight into who he is, even when the music suggests introspection.

Lurking in the background, once again, is the late Kurt Cobain. The comparisons between In Your Honor's Disc Two and Nirvana's Unplugged are unavoidable, and Grohl doesn't exactly run from them. The ruminative "Friend of a Friend" could be a coda to Nirvana's "All Apologies": It's about someone who strums guitar in isolation, drinks too much and says "never mind." "When he plays, no one speaks," Grohl sings slowly.

The same thing isn't true for Grohl: He's more of an affable craftsman than a tortured artist, and he gets by with his solid songs, his hard work and his charisma. But all of those wear thin on In Your Honor, which could have been easily pruned down to one disc. For his next album, Grohl may want to take a step back from his band's extremes: At the end of the day, he may just not be an extreme guy.

In Your Honor

Can you hear me
Hear me screamin'
Breaking in the muted sky
This thunder hurts
Like bombs beating
Echoing a thousand miles

Mine is yours and yours is mine
There is no divide
In your honor
I would die tonight

Mine is yours and yours is mine
I will sacrifice
In your honor
I would die tonight
For you to feel alive

Can you feel me
Feel me breathing
One last breath before I close my eyes
This offering
For receiving
Deliver me into the other side

Mine is yours and yours is mine
There is no divide
In your honor
I would die tonight

Mine is yours and yours is mine
I will sacrifice
In your honor
I would die tonight
For you to feel alive

For you to feel alive
For you to feel alive
For you to feel alive
AHH

No Way Back

Lately, I've been
Livin' in my head
The rest of me is dead,
I've (I'm) dying for truth.

Make me, believe,
No more left and right,
Come on take my side,
I'm fightin' for you,
I'm fightin' for you.

Pleased to meet you take my hand,
There is no way back from here,
Pleased to meet you say your prayers,
There is no way back from here,
But I don't care,
No way back from here.

Wake me, I'm ready,
Somethin' don't seem right,
I was dreamin',
I was talkin' to you,

Memory, mend me,
No one's seen my share,
Things I can't repair,
I'm breakin' to you,
I'm breakin' to you.

Pleased to meet you take my hand,
There is no way back from here,
Pleased to meet you say your prayers,
There is no way back from here,
But I don't care,
No way back from, here.
(Yeeeaaa, YEAAH!)
Pleased to meet you take my hand,
There is no way back from here,
Pleased to meet you say your prayers,
There is no way back from here,
But I don't care,
No way back from, here!

Best Of You

I’ve got another confession to make
I’m your fool
Everyone’s got their chains to break
Holdin’ you

Would you born to resist or be abused?
Is someone getting the best, the best, the best, the best of you?
Is someone getting the best, the best, the best, the best of you?
Are you gone and onto someone new?

I needed somewhere to hang my head
Without your noose
You gave me something that I didn’t have
But had no use
I was too weak to give in
Too strong to lose
My heart is under arrest again
But I break loose
My head is giving me life or death
But I can’t choose
I swear I’ll never give in
No, I refuse

Is someone getting the best, the best, the best, the best of you?
Is someone getting the best, the best, the best, the best of you?
Has someone taken your faith?
Its real, the pain you feel
You trust, you must
Confess

Is someone getting the best, the best, the best, the best of you?
Oh...

ooooh,oh,oh
ooooh,oh,oh
ooooh,oh,oh
ooooh,oh,oh
Has someone taken your faith?
Its real, the pain you feel
The life, the love
You'd die to heal
The hope that starts
The broken hearts
You trust, you must
Confess

Is someone getting the best, the best, the best, the best of you?
Is someone getting the best, the best, the best, the best of you?

I’ve got another confession my friend
I’m no fool
I’m getting tired of starting again
Somewhere new

Would you born to resist or be abused?
I swear I’ll never give in
I refuse

Is someone getting the best, the best, the best, the best of you?
Is someone getting the best, the best, the best, the best of you?
Has someone taken your faith?
Its real, the pain you feel
You trust, you must
Confess
Is someone getting the best, the best, the best, the best of you?
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!

DOA

Uh, you know I did it
It's over and I feel fine
Nothing you can say is gonna change my mind
Waited, and i wait the longest night
Nothing like the taste of sweet decline

I went down and i fell, i fell so fast
Dropping like the grains in an hour glass
Never say forever 'cause nothing lasts
Dancing with the bones of my buried past

Never mind there's nothing I can do
Bet your life there's something killing you.

It's a shame we have to die my dear
No one's getting out of here alive
This time
What a way to go but have no fear
No one's getting out of here alive
This time

I'm finished, i'm getting you off my chest
Made you come clean in a dirty dress
A promise is a promise if kept in check
Hard to cross a heart that beats its fist

Take a good hard look for the very last time
The very last one in a very long line.
Only took a second to say goodbye
Been a pleasure, but the pleasure's been mine all mine

Never mind there's nothing I can do
Bet your life there's something killing you.

It's a shame we have to die my dear
No-one's getting out of here alive
This time
What a way to go but have no fear
No one's getting out of here alive
This time

Ain't no way
D.O.A
Ain't no way
D.O.A

Take a good hard look for the very last time
The very last one in a very long line
Only took a second to say goodbye
Been a pleasure, but the pleasure's been mine all mine

Never mind there's nothing I can do
Bet your life there's something killing you.

It's a shame we have to die my dear
No one's getting out of here alive
This time
What a way to go but have no fear
No one's getting out of here alive
This time

It's a shame we have to disappear
No one's getting out of here alive
This time
This time
This time

Hell

This state, I'm in
A place I've never been
I'm dying to meet you hell

Come break this skin
I'll let you sink right in
And show you everything
See you in Hell

We'll gather around the fire
And I will lead the choir
Sing farewell
See you in Hell

Come break my spell
We'll drown the wishing well
We'll find some time to kill

I'll be right there
The buzz inside your head
The whole electric chair
See you in Hell

We'll gather around the fire
And I don't need the choir
Sing farewell
See you in Hell

The Last Song

This is a sound
The here and the now
You've got to talk to talk to talk to talk
to get it all out
I listen, I listen, I listen
But you're out of tune
You're so out of tune!

(This is the last song) This is the last song
(This is the last song) that I will dedicate to you

Somethin' abound
Yeah, while I'm still around
You got to walk to walk to walk to walk
to make any ground
You'll push in, you'll push in, you'll push in
But there ain't no room,
No, there ain't no room!

This is the last song (This is the last song)
This is the last song (This is the last song)
That I will dedicate to you
Made my peace and now i'm through
(This is the last song) that I will dedicate to you

And yours is a name
I will never, name again
I will never name again
We Pretend
It doesn't matter
We pretend it all away, we pretend it all away
We pretend, we pretend, we pretend
But it ain't no use

This is the last song (This is the last song)
This is the last song (This is the last song)
That I will dedicate to you
Made my peace and now I'm through
This is the last song that I will dedicate to you
..to you, to you.

Free Me

Free me right now
You take me away, take it from me
Free me right now
You take me away, take it from me, yeah!

Beautiful prisoner, left here for dead
Promises made and sentences read
Voices and visions are locked in my head
Like a safe full of sorrow.
All of the words that we dared never speak
All of our ghosts and the secrets we keep
Gather them all and we'll bury them deep
Like a safe full of sorrow.

Free me right now
You take me away, take it from me
Free me right now
You take me away, take it from me, hey!

One for forever
One in the name
Once to remember
We're one and the same
One to forget but it always remains
Like a safe full of sorrow

Free me right now
You take me away, take it from me
Free me right now
You take me away, take it from me
Can you free what's keepin' you?
Well I need somebody to:

Free me! Free me!
Free me! Free me!
Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh
Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh

Free me right now
You take me away, take it from me
Free me right now
You take me away, take it from me
Can you free what's keepin' you?
Well I need somebody to:

Free me! Free me!
Free me! Free me!
Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh
Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, yeah!

Resolve

Something that I felt today, something that I heard
Swingin' from the chandeliers, hanging on your word
I remember watchin' you, once upon a time
Dancing from across the room, in another life

A little bit of resolve is what I need now
Pin me down, show me how
A little bit of resolve is what I need now
Pin me down, show me how

Lookin' back to find my way, never seemed so hard
Yesterday's been laid to rest, changing of the guard
I would never change a thing, even if I could
All the songs we used to sing, everything was good

A little bit of resolve is what I need now
Pin me down, show me how
A little bit of resolve is what I need now
Pin me down, show me how

One more year that you're not here has gone and passed you by
What happened to you, what happened to you?
One more tear that you won't hear has gone and passed you by
What happened to you, what happened to you?

A little bit of resolve is what I need now
Pin me down, show me how
A little bit of resolve is what I need now
Pin me down, show me how

A little bit of resolve
One more year that you're not here
Has gone and passed you by (A little bit of resolve)
A little bit of resolve
One more year that you're not here
Has gone and passed you by (A little bit of resolve)

The Deepest Blues Are Black

(Instrumental)

End Over End

Burn all the candles out
Make a wish but not aloud
Relive the here and now
To see you now and then
I'm a revolvin' door
I've seen it all before
I will begin again
But I can't start until I've seen the end

I took a look around
I believe in hand me down
The treasures that we found
When we were brand new
Now that we're old and worn
A little ripped and torn
One day we'll be reborn
One day I will meet you right back here
Once again
Wait
Stop me so I can begin

End over end x3
I'm circling
End over end x3
I'm circling

I'm feelin' out of luck
Maybe I just feel too much
That old familiar touch
Will always stain my skin
The good in everyone
The ties we left undone
The heart that moves your blood
All the things that bring me right back here
Once again
Wait
Stop me so I can begin

End over end x3
I'm circling
End over end x3
I'm circling
End over end x3
I'm circling
End over end x3
I'm circling, Im circling
Hey
Once again
Wait
Stop me so I can begin

End over end x3
I'm circling
End over end x3
I'm circling
End over end x3
I'm circling
End over end x3
I'm circling, I'm circling
I'm circling, I'm circling
I'm circling

Still

If you'd like to walk a while
We could waste the day
Follow me into the trees
I will lead the way

Bring some change up to the bridge
Bring some alcohol
There we'll make a final wish
Just before the fall

Promise I will be forever yours
Promise not to say another word
Nevermind whats done is done
Always was a lucky one

Watch the sunrise all alone
Sitting on the tracks
Hear the train come roaring in
Never coming back

Laying quiet in the grass
Everything is still
River stones and broken bones
Scattered on the hill

Promise I will be forever yours
Promise not to say another word
Nevermind whats done is done
Always was a lucky one

Promise I will be forever yours
Promise not to say another word
Here forever deep beneath the dirt
Nevermind whats done is done
Always was a lucky one

What If I Do?

Back and forth that voice of yours keeps me up at night
Help me search to find the words that eat you up inside
I go side to side like the wildest tides in your hurricane
And I only hide what is on my mind because I can't explain

What if I do love
What if I don't?
I'd have to lose everything just to find you
What if I do love
What if I don't
I'd have to lose everything just to find you

It's my turn this solo burn so throw me in the fire
Trophies earned and lessons learned, my wicked little lies
We can pave new roads with the cold creed stones, wind them through the pines
Should I stay or should I go alone? I cannot decide

What if I do love
What if I don't?
I'd have to lose everything just to find you
What if I do love
What if I don't
I'd have to lose everything just to find you

Carolina, Caroline
Carolina, Caroline

What if I do love
What if I don't?
I'd have to lose everything just to find you
What if I do love
What if I don't
I'd have to lose everything just to find you

Carolina, Caroline
Carolina, Caroline
Carolina, Caroline
Carolina, Caroline

Miracle

Crazy, but I believe this time
Begging for sweet relief
A blessing in disguise
I'm dying behind these tired eyes
I've been losing sleep
Please come to me tonight

Hands on a miracle
I got my hands on a miracle
Believe it or not
Hands on a miracle
And there ain't no way, that you take it away

Everything that we've survived
It's gonna be alright
Just lucky we're alive
Got no vision
I've been blind
Searching everywhere
You're right there in my sight

Hands on a miracle
I got my hands on a miracle
Believe it or not
Hands on a miracle
And there ain't no way, that you take it away

Hands on a miracle
I got my hands on a miracle
Believe it or not
Hands on a miracle
I got my, hands on a miracle
And there ain't no way, that you take it away

Take it away

Another Round

When she goes storming out,
I run for cover
Rolling like thunder clouds,
Hanging above her,
Ring in the witching hour,
Spells that I'm singing,
Rain come and drown me out,
Sinking deep below

Can you go another round?
I will follow you down and out,
Let's go another round,
I will follow you down and

We could just lay around,
Stare at the ceiling,
Want to forget about,
One for the feeling,
Room full of photographs,
Box full of letters,
Come on make it last,
Nothing else matters right now

Can you go another round?
I will follow you down and out,
Let's go another round,
I will follow you down and out

Instrumental

Can you go another round?
I will follow you down and out,
Lets' go another round,
I will follow you down and out,

Let's go another round?
I will bother you down and out,
Let's go another round,
I will follow you down and out

uhhh... uhhh...

Friend Of A Friend

He needs a quiet room
With a lock to keep him in
It's just a quiet room
And he's there

He plays an old guitar
With a coin found by the phone
It was his friends guitar
That he played

He's never been in love
But he knows just what love is
He says nevermind
And no one speaks

He thinks he drinks too much
Cause when he tells his two best friends
"I think I drink too much"
No one speaks
No one speaks
No one speaks

He plays an old guitar
With a coin found by the phone
It was his friends guitar
That he played

When he plays
No one speaks
No one speaks
When he plays
No one speaks

Over And Out

Restless little one
Comfortable and warm
Let me fall apart
Crippled in your arms

Chase me through the dark
Ready on your mark
First to reach the stars
Wins a broken heart
One that broke apart
Shattered from the start

Are you there?
Do you read me?
Are you there?
I don't feel you anymore

Cages and alarms
Keeping us from harm
I will be the guard
Hope to rest upon

Could I be the one
To break a will so strong
Pray it won't be long
Til your will is gone
Everything is done
Nothing left at all

Are you there?
Do you read me?
Are you there?
I don't feel you anymore

Are you there?
Will you give in?
Are you there?
If I give out
Over and out

Cages and alarms
Keeping us from harm
I will be the guard
Hope to rest upon
Everything is done
Nothing left at all

Are you there?
Do you read me?
Are you there?
I don't feel you anymore

Are you there?
Will you give in?
Are you there?
If I give out

On The Mend

One more day that I've survived
Another night alone
Pay no mind I'm doing fine
I'm breathing on my own

I'm here
And I'm on the mend
I'm here
And I'm on the mend my friend

Wake me when the hour arrives
Wake me with my name
See you somewhere down the line
We're tethered once again

I'm here
And I'm on the mend
I'm here
And I'm on the mend my friend

Was it you?
Who said hello
Here we go

Close your eyes and stay a while
But take me where you go
Single file we walk the mile
wandering back home

I'm here
And I'm on the mend
I'm here
And I'm on the mend my friend

I'm here
And I'm on the mend
I'm here
And I'm on the mend my friend

Was it you?
Who said hello
Here we go...

Virginia Moon

Dearest constellation, heaven surroundin' you
Stay there, soft and blue. Virginia Moon, I'll wait for you
tonight
Sweetest invitation, breaking the day in two
Feelin' like I do, Virginia Moon, I'll wait for you tonight

And now our shades become shadows in your light
In the morning when we're through and tomorrow rescues you,
I will say goodnight

Secret fascination, whisper a quiet tune
Hear me callin' you, Virginia Moon, I'll wait for you tonight

And now our shades become shadows in your light
In the morning when we're through and tomorrow rescues you,
I will say goodnight

Virginia Moon, I'll wait for you tonight

And now our shades become shadows in your light
In the morning when we're through and tomorrow rescues you,
I will say goodnight

I will say goodnight
I will say goodnight

Cold Day In The Sun

Took the high dive into your brain
And you made your only calls
You just might wear your welcome out if you don't let it go.

And there's nothing that you couldn't say
Cause you said it all before
Think it's time you walk this lonely road all on your own

It's your cold day in the sun
Looks like your bleeding heart
Has already won

Wish I could take it away
And save you from yourself
You get so lost inside your head like no one else

Looking for someone to blame
Blame me all along
You'll take the heat, but you would never take the fall

It's your cold day in the sun
Looks like your bleeding heart
Has already won

You're so afraid
That you are the only one
That you are the only one
You know

Don't be afraid
Cause your not the only one
You're not the only one
I know

It's your cold day in the sun
Looks like your bleeding heart
Has already won

It's your cold day in the sun
Looks like your bleeding heart
Has already won

Razor

Wake up it's time
We need to find a better place to hide
Make up your mind
I need to know I need to know tonight

Sweet and divine
Razor of mine
Sweet and divine
Razorblade shine

Patience my dear
We could spend a lifetime waiting here
Maybe this time
I hope I get the chance to say goodbye

Sweet and divine
Razor of mine
Sweet and divine
Razorblade shine

Day after day
Cutting away
Day after day
But anyway

Wake up it's time
We need to find a better place to hide
Make up your mind
I need to know I need to know tonight

Sweet and divine
