This Highlights The Depth & All Around Greatness of The Commodores.
So Many Great Songs that have a Timeless Impact&Quality About them.
The Band has Many Great Talented Musicians & The Production is very
Strong. A Must Have.
Motown greats the Commodores exploded onto the funk/soul scene in 1974
with their debut album & single, both titled 'Machine Gun'
(included in this set). From then on, the Tuskeegee, Alabama quintet
assaulted the charts with a string of top-40 (& # 1) hits:
'Brickhouse', 'Easy', 'Three Times a Lady' (all found on this item)
& more.

Mentioning the Commodores will probably get you one of two reactions:
Either they'll be remembered for the greatest party funk songs of the
`70s-including "Brick House," which is worth the price of this CD
alone-or they'll be remembered for maudlin lines like, "You're
once...twice...three times a lady." But before Lionel Richie's nuzzling
little love songs, which led him out of the group in 1981 and turned
him into a Top 40 artist for the greater part of the `80s, the
Commodores were a vital cog in the lineage of Motown music; in fact,
from 1974 to 1985, the group was Motown's most lucrative asset. This
two-CD set features every essential track, as well as the previously
unavailable 1973 cut "Are You Happy," featuring a slithering soulful,
almost Marvin Gaye-styled aura. Disc one will satisfy anyone who
fancies the fatback funk of the Ohio Players (check "Slippery When
Wet"), or disco-era funk of KC & The Sunshine Band. The clavinet on
"Machine Gun" probably best defines the group's early years, while
digging a little deeper reveals more of the band's classic soul
ballads-most notably "Just To Be Close To You" and "Easy." Disc two
includes the wedding standard "Still" and the country-flavored "Sail
On," along with "Lady (You Bring Me Up)," a fine but forgotten track.
Perhaps one of the best moments on this collection comes on the lush,
soulful gospel tune (complete with choir) "Jesus Is Love," featuring
Lionel Richie's most heartfelt vocals.

The Commodores
Formed 1968, Tuskegee, Alabama
The Commodores began as a pop-and-funk sextet, a funky party band,
whose music was heavily influenced by Sly and the Family Stone and the
Bar-Kays. During their second, most commercially successful phase, the
Commodores became a popular ballad group led by singer/songwriter
Lionel Richie. Following Richie’s departure, the group began a
third phase, marked by the Grammy-winning memorial tribute
"Nightshift." In its latest incarnation, the Commodores is a trio based
on cofounders Walter Orange and William King and latter-day member
James Dean "J.D." Nicholas.
The six original group members met at a Tuskegee Institute talent show
when they were all freshmen. With drummer Walter Orange, the only one
with professional experience, handling vocals, the group began
performing as the Mystics. They later picked the name Commodores out of
a dictionary by placing a finger on the page. In the summer of 1969
they traveled via van to Harlem, seeking summer employment. Soon after
their arrival, their equipment was stolen, then sold back to them.
Undaunted, they landed a gig at Small’s Paradise, where they met
a local businessman they knew, Benny Ashburn, who became their manager.
They signed to Atlantic Records and released one single produced by
Jerry "Swamp Dogg" Williams, which did not chart.
In 1971 the group signed to Motown, and for the first two years worked
as the opening act for the Jackson 5. Because the group refused to
conform to the polished Motown style, the Commodores did not record
until 1974, when they were teamed up with producer/ arranger James
Carmichael, who produced all their albums until 1983.
On their first three albums, the Commodores’ sound was dominated
by a hard funk, which inspired one reviewer to describe them as "black
music’s answer to heavy metal." The group had several early hits,
including "Machine Gun" (#22, 1974), "I Feel Sanctified" (#75, 1974),
"Slippery When Wet" (#19, 1975), and "Fancy Dancer" (#39, 1977).
Although each of the group members writes, Richie eventually became the
Commodores’ main songwriter, and by 1977 his ballads were taking
center stage. "Just to Be Close to You," "Sweet Love," and "Easy" were
all Top Ten hits.
By 1978 when the group appeared in the disco movie Thank God It’s
Friday the Commodores were moving swiftly toward crossover pop stardom,
largely on the strength of Richie tunes like "Three Times a Lady" (#1,
1978), a platinum single that firmly established the Commodores as the
premier black pop group. "Sail On" and "Still" were Top Five ballads in
1979.
Richie began to pursue outside projects. He wrote the #1 "Lady" and
produced "Share Your Love" for Kenny Rogers. He also wrote and
performed a duet with Diana Ross on another #1 hit, the title theme
song from the movie Endless Love. In 1982 Richie released his solo
debut, Lionel Richie (Motown), featuring his Top Five hit "Truly."
Earlier that year Ashburn died of a heart attack in New Jersey, and
Richie departed for a solo career. He was followed a year later by
McClary. In the meantime James Dean "J.D." Nicholas came aboard, and
two years later the group had a #3 pop, #1 R&B hit with
Orange’s tribute to Marvin Gaye and Jackie Wilson, "Nightshift."
The song won a Grammy, but the Top Fifteen album of the same title was
their last for Motown.
They moved to Polydor for two albums, but by then LaPread and Williams
had departed, leaving the present core membership of Orange, King, and
Nicholas. The three cofounded Commodore Records and began releasing
greatest-hits packages that featured Orange and Nicholas on all lead
vocals. In the U.S. to date, the group has been awarded three platinum
albums. Worldwide, the Commodores have sold over 40 million records.
In the meantime, Lionel Richie’s spectacular solo success
eclipsed even the Commodores at their commercial peak. His self-titled
debut peaked at #3, followed a year later by the #1 Can’t Slow
Down, which won the 1984 Grammy for Album of the Year and contained the
hit singles "All Night Long (All Night)" (#1, 1983), "Running with the
Night" (#7, 1983), "Hello" (#1, 1984), "Stuck on You" (#3, 1984), and
"Penny Lover" (#8, 1984). It was said to be the biggest-selling album
in the history of Motown Records.
In 1985, with Michael Jackson, he cowrote "We Are the World," which was
recorded for the benefit project USA for Africa, and the next year
Richie won an Oscar for the #1 song "Say You, Say Me" from the film
White Nights. The streak continued with his third solo effort, Dancing
on the Ceiling (#1, 1986), which featured the #2 title track, "Love
Will Conquer All" (#9, 1986), "Ballerina Girl" (#7, 1987), and "Se La"
(#20, 1987). Those three albums alone were certified for U.S. sales of
over 16 million copies. In addition, Richie has strong followings in
the U.K., Canada, and throughout Europe.
Following nearly six years’ hiatus, Richie returned with Back to
Front, a greatest-hits package that included some of his work with the
Commodores as well as three brand-new songs. His latest singles to date
were "Do It to Me" (#1, 1992) and "My Destiny" (#56, 1992). He has won
a number of awards, including the Oscar and five Grammies.
Known for such hits as "Just to Be Close to You," "Easy," "Brickhouse,"
to name a few, the Commodores were one of the top bands during their
long tenure at Motown. The group is credited with seven number one
songs and a host of other top ten numbers on the Billboard charts. They
also have a vast music catalog that has generated more than 50 albums,
and the recordings continue to be in demand. The members of the
Commodores, all of whom attended Tuskegee Institute in Alabama, came
together as a result of two groups disbanding: the Mystics and the
Jays. Initially formed to simply play music as a passtime and to meet
girls, the line-up consisted of William King (trumpet), Thomas McClary
(guitar), Ronald LaPread (bass), Walter "Clyde" Orange (drums), Lionel
Richie (saxophone) and Milan Williams (keyboards). The members nearly
went stir-crazy trying to pick a name for the group, but to no avail.
As a last resort, Orange gave King a dictionary and told him to pick a
name, and that name was the Commodores. With the only learned musician
in the group being Clyde Orange, the Commodores began spreading their
music throughout their regional base, which included Tuskegee,
Montgomery and Birmingham, Alabama. After experiencing success in
securing dates in their own backyard, the band ventured to New York
City for a gig at the Smalls Paradise club. They were told, in so many
words by the club owner, that their sound was not happening. However, a
short time later the self-contained band was called back to the club to
fill-in for a last minute cancellation. That night the Tuskegee alumini
performed before a standing-room-only crowd. Most of the crowd were
friends and family of the band. Unaware of the planned crowd, the owner
booked the band for two more weeks. The Commodores association with
Motown was a result of the group touring with the Jackson 5. That
opporutnity occurred in 1971 when the group was told to be in New York
City for an audition. The members did not know the audition was for the
Jackson 5 tour until two weeks later when they were selected for the
tour. They toured with the Jackson 5 for two and one half years, and
their presence on that tour ultimately solidified a deal with Motown.
Their first release on Motown was the uptempo instrumental dance cut
"Machine Gun." Written by Milan Williams, the song gave the group
immediate attention with its top ten outing (Billboard #7, 15 weeks).
That number was followed by the top 20 single "I Feel Sanctified,"
which lead to their third single and first number one record in
"Slippery When Wet." Inside of 17 weeks, the Alabama-based septet was
rocking the radio waves with their southern funk spiced with an
animated vocal delivery, courtesy of Lionel Richie and Clyde Orange. In
September of 1976 they released "Just to Be Close to You," their second
number one single and a number seven pop hit. The top ten hit "Fancy
Dancer" followed, and then came "Easy." Different from their other
tunes, "Easy" was very serene and not nearly as soulful or funky as the
band's other tunes. Nonetheless, it claimed the number one spot on the
charts, and it paved the way for the style of ballad's the group would
later be known for. However, soul and funk was still very much present
in spite of the benevolent rhythms of "Easy." This was demonstrated
with the release of what would become the group's anthem, "Brickhouse."
The arrangement and candid vocal lead by Clyde Orange is complemented
by the evenly saturated percussive and rhythmic attack It cracked the
top ten at number four. The irony is that "Brickhouse" was the last
song recorded for the group's self-titled album. Two consecutive number
one singles would follow: the dance cut "Too Hot Ta Trot" and the
placid number "Three Times a Lady." . And then there was "Still." The
last number one for the group with Richie as a member. In 1981, Richie
recorded "Endless Love" with Diana Ross. The song peaked at number one
for seven and nine weeks respectively on the Billboard R&B and pop
charts, . The success of the single was a prelude to the success Richie
would relish upon his exit from the group, which occurred in 1982. But
before his departue, the band had a string of hits which included "Old
Fashion Love," "Lady (You Bring Me Up)," and "Oh No." However, the
Commodores had many songs that were not releases and never charted, but
were and remain favorites among many. The most notable being "Zoom." A
simmering ballad in which Richie patiently sails through the utopian
lyric; truly an R&B classic. In the absence of Richie, the group
courted the talents of tenor J.D. Nicholas (formerly of Heatwave) and
would go on to release its biggest hit. That occurred on January 15,
1985 when "Nightshift" was released. Penned by Clyde Orange, the song
pays to tribute to the late soul singers Marvin Gaye and Jackie Wilson.
Orange and Nicholas' co-lead the nostalgic number which navigated its
way to the top spot on the charts and stayed there through four
consecutive weeks; it also won the group its only Grammy. The
Commodores left Motown in '85. The group's split with label was a
matter of principle, which the group could not forsake. Motown gave a
committment to releasing the group's album prior to Richie's solo
release. However, the label did not honor the committment and proceeded
to release Richie's project. Consequently, the group signed with
Polydor in the same year and had another swing at the top ten with
"Goin' to the Bank" (Billboard R&B, #2, 20 weeks). Today the band
is reduced to a core of three, which includes Orange, King and
Nicholas. The threesome are as active as ever performing around the
world; they are managing their own label, Commodore Records and more
than anything else - they're still having fun.
Know it sounds funny but I just can't stand the pain
Girl, I'm leaving you tomorrow
Seems to me girl you know I've done all I can
You see I begged, stole and I borrowed ... yeah ooh
Ooh, that's why I'm easy
I'm easy like sunday morning
That's why I'm easy
I'm easy like sunday mooooooooorning
Why in the world would anybody put chains on me?
I've paid my dues to make it
Everybody wants me to be what they want me to be
And I´m not happy when I try to fake it yeah
I wanna be high so high
I wanna be free to know the things I do are right
I wanna be free just me oh baby uh
THREE TIMES A LADY
Thanks for the times that you've given me
The memories are all in my mind
And now that we've come to the end of our rainbow
There's something i must say out loud
You're once, twice, three times a lady
And I love you...
Yes, you're once, twice, three times a lady
And I love you... I love you...
When we are together the moments I cherish
With every beat of my heart
To touch you, to hold you
To feel you, to need you
There's nothing to keep us apart
You're once, twice, three times a lady
And I love you... I love you...
NIGHTSHIFT
Marvin, he was a friend of mine
And he could sing a song
His heart in every line
Marvin sang of the joy and pain
He opened up our minds
And I still can hear him say
Aw talk to me so you can see
What's going on
Say you will sing your songs
Forevermore (evermore)
Gonna be some sweet sounds
Coming down on the nightshift
I bet you're singing proud
Oh I bet you'll pull a crowd
Gonna be a long night
It's gonna be all right
On the nightshift
Oh you found another home
I know you're not alone
On the nightshift
Jackie (Jackie), hey what'you doing now
It seems like yesterday
When we were working out
Jackie (Jackie, oh) you set
The world on fire
You came and gifted us
Your love it lifted us
Higher and higher
Keep it up and
We'll be there
At your side
Oh say you will sing
Your songs forevermore (evermore)
Gonna be some sweet sounds
Coming down on the nightshift
I bet you're singing proud
Oh I bet you'll pull a crowd
Gonna be a long night
It's gonna be all right
On the nightshift
Oh you found another home
I know you're not alone
On the nightshift
Gonna miss your sweet voice
That soulful voice
On the nightshift
We all remember you
Ooh the songs are coming through
At the end of a long day
It's gonna be okay
On the nightshift
You found another home
I know you're not alone
On the nightshift
BRICK HOUSE
Chorus:
She's a brick----house
Mighty might just lettin' it all hang out
She's a brick----house
The lady's stacked and that's a fact,
ain't holding nothing back.
She's a brick----house
She's the one, the only one,
who's built like a amazon [pronounced am-a-ka-zawn]
We're together everybody knows,
and here's how the story goes.
She knows she got everything
a woman needs to get a man, yeah.
How can she use, the things she use
36-24-36, what a winning hand!
Chorus
The clothes she wears, the sexy ways,
make an old man wish for younger days
She knows she's built and knows how to please
Sure enough to knock a man to his knees
Chorus
Bridge
Shake it down, shake it down now (repeat)

ZOOM
Whoa, I like to greet the sun each mornin’
And walk amongst the stars at night
I’d like to know the taste of heartache in my life
In my life
Well, I’ve shared so many pains
And I played so many games
Ah, but everyone finds the right way
Somehow, some way, some day
Whoa, zoom, I’d like to fly far away from here
Where my mind can see fresh and clear
And I’ll find the love that I long to see
People can be what they wanna be
Whoa, ho, I wish the world were truly happy
Living as one
I wish the world they call Freedom
Someday would come, some day would come
Whoa, zoom, I’d like to fly far away from here
Where my mind can see fresh and clear
And I’ll find the love that I long to see
Everybody can be what they wanna be
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, hey, baby

I’m in love with a plain old-fashion girl
She’s the most beautiful person in the world
Her smile is so warm and her eyes burn so deep, ah, yeah
Softly in rhymes of love she sings to me
{Love is for love} Oh {But only if it’s meant to be}
Only if it’s meant to be, baby
Yeah, hea, hea, I-I-I-I
I’m in love with a plain and simple girl
She takes my heart and sends me for a whirl
I’m on the wings of love and I don’t take care where I go
Because when we reach that star we both will know
{Love is for love} Ooh {And our love was meant to be}
Our love was meant to be, baby, ooh
I want some lovin’ tonight
Some old-fashion love, baby
I know that you do it right
Do it, do it, do it to it, baby
I want some lovin’ tonight
Some old-fashion love, baby
I know that you do, do
Do it, do it, do it right, baby
I want (Ow), gimme, gimme, gimme (Whoa)
I want (Oh, girl) some old-fashion love, baby

SAIL ON
Sail on down the line
Bout a half a mile or so
And a don't really wanna know a
Where you're goin
Maybe once or twice you see
Time after time I tried-a to,
To hold on to what we got
But a now you're goin
And I don't mind
About the things you're gonna say Lord
I gave all my money, and my time
I know it's a shame
But I'm givin you back your name
Yeah, yeah.
Yes I'll be on my way
I won't be back to stay
I guess I'll move along
I'm lookin for a good time.
Sail on down the line,
Ain't it funny how time can gon on-a
friends say they told me so,
But it doesn't matter.
It was plain to see that a small town boy like me
Just-a wasn't your cup of tea,
It was wishful thinkin.
I gave you my heart and I tried to make you happy,
And you gave me nothin in return.
You know, it ain't so hard to say,
Would you please just go away.
Yeah, yeah.
I've thrown away the blue
I'm tired of being used,
I want everyone to know
I'm lookin for a good time.
Good time, yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
Got nothin else to lose,
I'm tired of being used,
I want everyone to know
I'm lookin for a good time,
Good time, yeah.
Whoa oh,
Sail on, honey
Good times never felt so good.
Sail on sugar,
Good times never felt so goo.
Sail on.
LADY (YOU BRING ME UP)
Lady - you bring me up when I'm down,
Maybe you're gonna change my life around.
You came to me when I was lonely and no one cared.
You made me see that I was only just runnin' scared.
I saw your face and somethin' told me you were the one.
You smiled at me and now I see: My life's begun.
Lady - you brought me in from out the rain,
Maybe me life will never be the same.
Once I was filled with desperation - a solitary man
You gave me hope and inspiration like only true love can.
Now I believe in what you're sayin' - I'm ten feet tall.
This love don't need no explainin' - we've got it all.
Lady - you bring me up when I'm down, ...
Lady - you bring me up when I'm down, ...
Lady - you bring me up when I'm down, ...

I wanna hold you but you’re holdin’
someone else in your arms
When I close my eyes I see your face

my heart can erase
Oh, no
I can’t think, ooh
Oh, no
I’m goin’ crazy with love over you
Oh, honey
Oh, sugar
Oh, no
I can’t sleep anymore, baby
Oh, no
I can’t think anymore, baby
Oh, no
I’m goin’ crazy with love over you

THE ZOO (THE HUMAN ZOO)
(Sorry, this lyrics is not available yet!)
STILL
Lady, Morning's just a moment away
And I'm without you once again
You laughed at me
You said you didn't needed me
I wonder if you need me now
(chorus:)
So many dreams that flew away
So many words we didn't say
Two people lost in a storm
Where did we go?
Where'd we go?
We lost what we both had found
You know we let each other down
But then most of all
I Do Love You
Still!
(Same as chorus)
We played the games that people play
We made our mistakes along the way
Somehow I know deep in my heart
You needed me
'Cause I needed you so desperatly!
We were too blind to see
But then most of all
I Do Love You
Still!
SWEET LOVE
Show me a river that’s so deep
Show me a mountain so high
I’ll show you love that’ll last forever
Flying high, so high
Ah, show me a place where dreams are for dreamers
And all the things you wish come true, yeah
I’d wish the world had all happy people
Then there’d be no more wishing to do
Hoo, hoo, hoo, hoo, hoo, hoo, hoo, hoo, ooh! well
Sweet love
Sweet love that comes through the ages
Reach out and touch my soul
Gave my life so much meaning
And everyone a heart of gold
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh (Sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet love)
(Oh, you needed love)
(Ooh!hoo!)
Sweet love (Sweet, sweet love)
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Sweet love (Sweet love, well)
I know you’re searchin’
I know you’re searchin’ for a little love
A little peace and understandin’
And I know it’s been hard tryin’ to find your way
But you got to keep on searchin’ harder day by day
‘Cause it’s love, love’s the only way
(Oh, nothin’ but love)
Oh!oh! (Love)
Sweet love (Sweet love, ow)
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh (When you’re down and out and you can’t see your way)
Sweet love (And you need a friend, well-ell-ell)
Tearin’ me apart
Somehow I just joined in
She’s playing with my heart
But Janet’s so aware
And people tell me, "She keeps telling you lies"
I guess they wonder how I stand it, oh
But when I look in her eyes
I know it’s love the way I planned it
I believe in Janet
Janet, they don’t understand it
The whole thing must be wrong
I gave my heart to Janet
And she won’t lead me on
Janet
Oh, Janet
There could never be
Another girl like Janet
It’s only her and me
Together on this planet
And people tell me, "She keeps telling you lies"
I guess they wonder how I stand it, oh, yeah
But when I look in her eyes
I know it’s love the way I planned it
I believe in Janet
Janet, they don’t understand it
The whole thing must be wrong
I gave my heart to Janet
And she won’t lead me on
Janet
Oh, Janet
Why can’t they see
Without her there’d be
No reason to go on and on
As long as she stays with me
I’ll keep holdin’ on
I believe in Janet
I believe in Janet, they don’t understand it
The whole world must be wrong
I gave my heart to Janet
And she won’t lead me on
Janet, Ja-Janet, they don’t understand it
The whole world must be wrong
I gave my heart to Janet
And she won’t lead me on
Oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh
Oh
Janet, they don’t understand it
The whole thing must be wrong
I gave my heart to Janet
And she won’t lead me on
Janet, they don’t understand it
The whole thing must be wrong
FLYING HIGH
Flyin’ high on a feelin’
Flyin’ high
Flyin’ high on a good thing
Flyin’ high on your love
I knew we could make it from the beginning
The first time I saw you passing by, whoa
To me it was much more than a notion
It was the fire in your eyes
Flyin’ high on a good thing
Flyin’ high on your love
Your face has a glow, girl, like a sunrise
You speak in a whisper like the wind, whoa
And when I touch you I see clearly
That we can be more than just friends
When was the last time I said
I love you
I find it hard to say
But I do
When was the last time I said
I need you
I’ve kept it to myself
Much too long
(It’s been too long, it’s been too long)
In all my life
I’ve never known anyone like you
I love you, I love you
Only you
I’ve been in love before
I didn’t think I could love anymore
But there you were with love
In your heart for me
I can feel it when we kiss
I can tell when we touch
That the magic of love
Was meant for you and me
(For you and me, for you and me)
In all my life
I’ve never had a love so true
I love you, I love you
Only you (Only you)
I know it when we touch
Oh, I know if I had the power
To make this song come true
It would be for me
To build my life with only you
ANIMAL INSTINCT

JUST TO BE CLOSE TO YOU
Just to be close to you, girl
Just for a moment (Well)
Just for an hour
Just to be close to you, girl (Ah, baby)
Take my hand
Ah, we’ll live in love forever, yeah
Take my hand
Ooh, we’ll be alone, you and me
Take my hand
Girl, we’ll live our lives together, yeah
Together (Ooh, together, yeah), ah, ah, together (Together)
Just to be close to you, girl
Just for the moment, baby (Well)
Just for an hour
Just to be close to you, girl (Ah, baby)
Hey, hey, ooh, ooh, hoo, hoo
I’ve been out there searchin’ so very long, baby
Searching to find somebody just like you
And for some folks it takes a lifetime, sugar
To find in this a world dream come true, why don’t you
Take my hand
Ho, we’ll live in love forever, yeah
Take my hand
Girl, we’ll be alone, you and me
Take my hand
We’ll spend our lives together
Together (Together), ah, ah, together (Together)
Just to be close to you, girl
For the moment, baby (For the moment, baby)
For the moment, baby
For the sugar, sugar, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Woo, ooh, ooh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Just to be close to you, girl
Just for the moment, baby (Well)
Just for an hour
Just to be close to you, girl
WONDERLAND
Hello, honey, this is your lucky day
I’ve come to take you far, far away
We’ll use love as our guide to the stars
And if I’m lucky I’ll put a thrill in your heart
Come into (whoa, baby) this Wonderland of mine (This Wonderland of mine, girl)
(And I’ll take control of your beautiful mind)
I can’t tell you (Girl) just what to expect (Some times I don’t know myself)
(Whoa, the joy you give is the pleasure you get)
Won’t you come into this land of love (Come on, baby)
Won’t you come into this love with me (Oh...)
(Won’t you come into this love of mine)
It’s for you and for me (Yeah)
Mr. Taxi driver, could you give us a ride
And take us down to, oh, Paradise Drive
Hurry, won’t you hurry ‘cause I just can’t wait
Oh, one minute lost might be one minute too late
Sugar, don’t you be afraid, no, no
Just take me by the hand and I’ll show you the way
Ooh
Ooh...hoo...yeah

It’s for you, baby
All I need, all I ever needed was you
Whoa, girl, let me take you to a (Wonderland)
Got so many thing we can do, girl
(It’s for you, it’s for me, that’s how it’s gonna be in Wonderland)
(It’s for you, it’s for me, that’s how it’s gonna be in Wonderland)
