Die großen Gitarrenhelden sind von der Bühne fast verschwunden: Sie werden von Luftgitarrenhelden nur schlecht ersetzt. In dieses Vakuum stößt Danny Bryant. Mit gerade mal 29 Jahren legt der Walter-Trout-Zögling schon sein siebtes Album vor: Musik wie eine Garagenband in den späten 70ern, mit dem Unterschied, dass Bryant singen (wie Gary Moore) und Gitarre spielen kann (wie Clapton, Albert Collins, Albert King). Seine Zutaten sind bratende Akkorde, eingängige Riffs, Melodien zum Mitsingen, schier uferloses Gitarrengegniedel und die unverfälschte Attitüde schwerstpubertierender Rockergören. Mutig weicht er Klischees weder musikalisch noch in den Liedtexten aus – das ist wundervoll authentisch. Unbedingt live und weder allein noch völlig nüchtern anhören!
