Home School Valedictorian is the second album by Las Vegas, Nevada hard rock band Adelitas Way, released on June 7, 2011.

Adelitas Way entered the studio in September 2010 with writer/producer Dave Bassett (Shinedown, VersaEmerge) and Tadpole (Disturbed, Adelitas Way, Finger Eleven) in Malibu, California to record the band's follow up to their self-titled debut on Virgin Records.

The album is titled for the perceived unwarranted self importance of former lead guitarist Chris Iorio, himself being homeschooled. In a 2011 Loudwire interview, Adelita's Way singer Rick DeJesus elaborated on the reason for the album title, saying he was "in a band with someone I felt really didn't appreciate us and kind of felt like he didn't need us. That person is a home school valedictorian. They never went to high school, their parents were their teacher, and that’s what I think the problem was. This kid has his parents in his ear non-stop telling him that he’s better than us and that he’s the best and he didn't treat anyone with respect."
